We are seeking a passionate and experienced Finance Officer to join our dedicated team.
This is full time position from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00pm

Key Responsibilities:
- To manage the day to day operational management of Finance and associated Admin function
- To plan and prepare year ends statutory accounts and audits
- To manage monthly and statutory payroll and pensions administration process
- Ensure effective purchase ledger and sales ledger procedures are in place and followed
- To prepare and submit HMRC Returns e.g. payroll, Gift Aid and VAT as necessary
- To organise and respond to reports from the responsible officer and auditors
- To manage and improve the financial software used
Main skills to get clearance for this role:
- Proficiency in MS Office and school management software including SIMS, FMS.
- Experience working in a finance role
- Eligible to work in the UK (Essential)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get one
- 2 recent professional references
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Punctuality and reliability are essential
- Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines
