Randstad Education is currently recruiting for an Attendance Administrator to work in a School in Southwark. This role is 35 hours and term time only (39 weeks a year).
We are looking for a candidate to start this role in September 2024.

Responsibility:
- To be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the manual and computerised pupil data records (using SIMs - experience is essential)
- To provide general clerical support as required, including minute taking when necessary
- To undertake filing and photocopying as required, including the basic maintenance of the photocopier
- To undertake word processing as required using Microsoft Office - including the all attendance letters
- To collect, collate and distribute leaflets, letters and information packs for parents and carers
- To identify and work with individuals and groups of students, using regular attendance checks
- To work closely with parents/carers and students to improve levels of attendance
Requirements / Skills:
- Excellent administrative and ICT skills, including attention to detail on data entry work
- Previous experience of working in a school environment
- SIMS experience (particularly the attendance module) gained from working in a school, voluntarily or paid
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Effective communication skills, particularly a good written standard of English
- You will have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to complete a new one
- The ability to work with high levels of tact, confidentiality and discretion
- A patient approach towards working with children and adults alike
