We are looking for an enthusiastic Administrator Receptionist, who has experience in a similar role and ideally be familiar with working in an educational or early years environment.
The position is for 35 hours, working 5 days each week term time only, Working hours are 8.30 am - 4.30 pm with one hour for lunch each day.
The main activities and responsibilities are:
... - To be the first point of contact for both telephone and face to face enquiries and take messages where appropriate
- To ensure that the reception desk is covered at all times
- To undertake initial responses to all enquiries from parent/carers, visitors or general public at reception stringently adhering to the school's safeguarding procedures
- To receive and relay promptly any telephone or other messages
- To ensure that all visitors and callers to the school are courteously and correctly received and to deal sensitively with anxious, distressed or impatient callers, whether by telephone or in person
- To ensure that all visitors are signing in according to the Safeguarding procedures of the school
- Ensuring ID and vetting forms are seen before allowing visitors around school
- Attend and participate in relevant meetings as required
- Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems e.g. SIMS, Arbor, Inventry, Evolve, Famly

We are looking for an individual who has the below skills:
- Experience of working in a school office environment and be familiar with SIMS
- Ability to exercise confidentiality and discretion on sensitive matter
- Fluency in all Microsoft Office and Google applications
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
- Right to work in UK (Essential)
- 2 recent proven experience
- Confidence in using spreadsheets to process data
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills
