We are now looking for an admin officer to provide efficient, effective and confidential administrative support in this school office.
This role requires you to work from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, Monday-Friday, as this is a full-time position that starts soon.

Main Responsibilities for this position:
- To welcome all families, visitors and callers to the school, ensuring registration procedures and safeguarding checks are followed and to direct visitors to the appropriate area, informing personnel of their arrival
- To assist with parent communication by sending out texts, emails and regular communications such as the newsletter
- To assist staff routine clerical support, e.g. photocopying, filing, faxing, emailing and complete routine forms
- Undertake all administration relating to admissions to the school, including the checking of documentation and maintaining accurate class lists
- To keep records of attendance, visitor's registration details as set by the school and to provide data as required
- Support with inductions and document checking with the arrival of new staff, volunteers and governors
- Obtain authorisation for holiday and other absence requests and maintain records

Some of your requirements to earn this role :
- Good team player with experience in an administrative role
- Eligibility to work in the UK is ESSENTIAL (sponsorship is not available with this role)
- DBS on a update service is a must
- 2 proven relevant experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Reliability, tact, diplomacy, confidentiality, and sensitivity are paramount to this post
- Be able to work with frequent interruptions
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a range of people
- Excellent planning and organising abilities, able to manage own time, prioritise and meet deadlines
