We are currently hiring a Scheduling Assistant for a well-established manufacturing company in Brantford. This role will be creating schedules for multiple manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with ERP/MRP, previous Scheduling experience and enjoy working in a fast paced environment. A great attention to detail and strong organizational skills are beneficial to this role.

Advantages
- 3 month contract strong likelihood of extension
- Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm
- $22/hr - $24/hr based on level of experience
- Work for a well known company
- Great location off the highway for an easy commute
Responsibilities
-Create and manage schedules and work orders (scheduling jobs, machines and personnel)
-Monitor and update schedules to reflect changes in production requirements, material availability, and changeovers.
-Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts and bottlenecks
-Maintaining records and reports; including production logs and inventory
-Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
-Analyze data and provide insights to improve scheduling processes and production efficiency
-Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in a scheduling or coordinating role
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Excel
- Previous experience with ERP/ MRP (GDE would be an asset)
- Ability to collaborate as a team and with other departments
