JOB PURPOSEAs a part of Japan strategic execution plan for Equipment Sales Team, this position will be focused to promote and sell the organization’s wide variety of equipment products and P&S (parts and services) for customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets.Apply and use the knowledge of sales process and equipment to support front line sales representatives in promoting and selling the organization's products and services to achieve significant sales targets.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES1. Responsible for achievement of budgeted revenue.2. Responsible for price quality in line with Sandvik’s processes and rules.3. Develop sales opportunities for Sandvik product lines in Japan and/or set of customers.4. Develop a Sales plan in Japan and/or set of customers, as well as pipeline opportunities.5. Ensure the Customer complies with Sandvik terms and conditions of sale.6. Liaise between Customers and Sandvik to ensure all issues are settled in a timely manner.7. Provide the Company with regular status reports on business activities, opportunity development and overall satisfaction of the Customers base(CRM).8. Work as part of the account management team for local or global accounts to identify customer sales opportunities.9. Ensure CRM/ sales Tools are up to date with valid cases and customer visit reports.10.Create Sales Tools Case and updating Sales Tools to won / loss status.11.Identifying and profiling key target customers, markets, and sectors especially in Tunneling, Surface Drill, Ground Support, Digitalization and Automation.12.Handling customer questions, inquiries, application studies, quotes/proposals, and complaints.13.Setting sales goals and developing sales strategies to penetrate the new market & established customers.14.Using Salesforce, provide weekly and monthly reports on sales numbers, achievement, and sales visit activity.15.Working with all product BLMs (Business Line Managers) to achieve the targets.16.Ensure attainment of assigned geography’s budgeted sales value, volume and/or profitability.17.Ultimate responsibility is to meet established sales goals and ensure they are effectively cascaded in sales goals of sales team.18.Provide regular business performance metric reports to management.19.Liaise and work with senior management to set forecasts, budgets and targets.20.Ensure that end-user and customer relations are effectively managed.21.Review and monitor sales performance periodically and refine sales strategy as required by management.22.Manage the First Line Sales Managers’ performance and results.23.Managerial responsibility for multiple team/departments across location.24.Ensure strong financial discipline within assigned geographical territory, balancing sales results and managing Administrative and Sales (A&S) expense.

Product and Application Knowledge
Deep understanding of Sandvik's equipment portfolio, particularly in
Tunnel, Ground Support, Surface Drills, Digitalization, and Automation solutions. Ability to provide technical insights and recommendations that align with customer needs and operational goals.
Market Analysis and Opportunity Development
Ability to analyze markets, identify key customers, sectors, and emerging opportunities. Develop actionable sales strategies, including market penetration plans and customer profiling.
