With the significant achievement of doubling their top line in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region in 2023, they are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to spearhead operations in India and China.
About the Job
As the Sales Manager for India & China, you will report directly to the Regional Sales Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, based in Singapore. Your role will be instrumental in overseeing parts of the sales process, from initiating targeted outbound activities to securing deals and managing ongoing client relationships. The focus will be on selling in India and China through channel partners, starting with identifying potential customers. The primary industry focus will be enterprises and government.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Assist in achieving regional sales targets and resource allocation.
- Support and be accountable for achieving growth throughout Southeast Asia.
Relationship Management:
- Cultivate strong relationships with key prospects and stakeholders.
- Establish yourself as an industry thought leader and trusted advisor.
Business Development:
- Identify potential customers in India and China.
- Develop and execute business development plans and strategies across the SEA region.
- Work through channel partners to achieve sales goals.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Over 10 years of experience in selling to government agencies and enterprises, with a proven track record of success.
- Ideally, you are coming from the critical communications or telecommunications industry.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million dollar projects and assume significant responsibility.
- Proven experience in selling solutions to high-ranking government officials, building lasting client relationships, and providing strategic insights.
- Previous experience selling into complex accounts is essential.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time for client meetings, trade shows, and events.
