3. Regular sales forecasts & planning
Establishes sales objectives.
Forecasts expected sales volume and profit for existing and new product lines and
customers.
Forecasts and communicates intricate sales details to senior management.
4. Sales team management
Build & maintain a high performing sales team by selecting, orienting, and training
them.
Establishing weekly, monthly, and yearly targets to act as a guideline that enables
measurement of individual and group performance.
Ensure that the weekly, monthly & yearly sales targets are achieved. Conduct regular performance evaluations and coach team members on how to
effectively use sales tactics to close more deals faster.
Motivating and inspiring team members to meet sales targets that match the
company’s goals.
Ensure that all sales activities are conducted in accordance with company policies
and procedures.
5. Nurture stakeholder relationships
Ensures establishment and expansion of national, regional, and local stakeholder
relationships.
Build & maintain long lasting relationship with the customers to understand their
preferences, needs & objectives.
6. Collaboration & Communication
Developing and communicating revenue targets to management, and individual
sales goals to the sales team & Senior management
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product positioning and
marketing strategies
Required Qualification
9+ years of proven experience in business development & project sales in
Construction/building material industry with min.5 in a sales leadership role.
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
Excellent knowledge of account management, market analysis, and sales strategies
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performing sales teams.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
