Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients. 3. Market research & competitor activity Forecast and develop annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projectingexpected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Analyse sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and identify areas forimprovement. Builds in-depth knowledge of CRM and funnel management tools and applies theseskills consistently to forecast business, manage the sales teams, build opportunitypipeline, and make business decisions. Collect competitor information, formulate market development plans, andimplement effective measures to improve performance according to changes inlocal regulations and policies ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.4. Business Performance Elaborate, implement, and control budgets in accordance with the agreed businessplan. Forecasts and communicates intricate sales details to senior management. Prepare latest forecasts to achieve agreed profit and financial goals. Active involvement in the Advertising & Promotion budget by brand and by market.Closely monitor their effectiveness and constantly optimize where possible. Monitor prices and ensure that regional price strategies are maintained. Monitor competitors’ activities, pricing, sales, market trends, promotions, etc. andshare information as appropriate.5. Team leadership & talent development Lead and develop the sales team to consistently meet/exceed goals. Attract toptalent to the organization and implement training & development initiatives to helpthe team succeed. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment focused on achieving salesgoals. Directly oversee the Indoor Sales Team (Showroom Sales Manager and SalesExecutives) and the Project Sales Team (Regional Managers, Zonal Managers, andBusiness Development Executives). Set clear performance expectations and objectives for each team and individual andconduct regular performance reviews. Ensure continuous training and development programs are in place to enhance teamskills and knowledge. 6. Retail performance Ensure the indoor sales team delivers a superior customer experience by maintaininghigh standards of visual merchandising, product presentation, and customer service. Direct, train, motivate, and communicate with the Showroom Sales Manager andSales Executives to ensure they are knowledgeable about the products, promotions,and sales techniques. Monitor the performance of the indoor sales team, providing regular feedback andidentifying opportunities for improvement. Ensure the showroom is well-organized, well-stocked, and reflects the high-endluxury brand image of the company. Implement and oversee marketing activations and promotional events in theshowroom to drive foot traffic and sales. Required Qualification Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or Management orequivalent. A Master’s degree is a plus. 15- 22 yrs. of experience in building material industry with min. 10 yrs. dealing withluxury building materials. Ability to confidently negotiate and lead at the C-suite level with high-end architectsin India. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively withmanagement and cross-functional teams Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM & Database generation Experience managing and expanding a team of 20+ individuals. Good command of English (written and spoken) mandatory Ability to travel 25% - 50%.
