Key Areas of Responsibilities (KARs)
- Drive primary and secondary sales numbers across categories within the area in coordination with team members. Achievement of ABP ensuring business growth & profitability.
- Partner with distributors in the area to ensure accomplishment of overall revenue profit targets in the assigned region.
- Plan and monitor network expansion Appointment & Activation.
- Support identifies financially strong and reliable distributors & dealers, resulting in deeper market penetration & reach.
- Discover sales opportunities through expanding reach.
- Manage customer relationships to maintain / increase the existing SOB (share of business).
- Maintain effective relationships with key distributors / dealers in the territory driving their ROI through organization’s schemes etc.
- Ensure distributor’s adherence to service levels.
- Manage investment of distributors and take accountability for creditworthiness of outlets and ensure adherence to credit terms.
- Be the point of contact for solving all trade related issues and escalating, wherever needed.
- Monitor market-operating prices and any instance of cross-territory infiltration and appraise cluster head of any critical information.
- Drive cross selling of products across customers.
- Ensure effective collections and monitor credit levels for a distributor ensuring adherence to internal sales processes.
- Observes competitor strategies within the assigned region.
- Identify retail universe in assigned territory through Distributors/dealers.
- Conduct identified brand and trade marketing interventions in their areas.
- Report all data through prescribed tools and technology within defined timeline.
- Ensure compliance of company terms by the distributors- Stock norms and market credit as per company policy.
- Analysing latest marketing trends, tracking competitor’s activities, and providing valuable inputs for fine tuning of sales & marketing strategies.
- Motivate the sales team.
