key responsibilities
As an Sales Executive in this role you will be responsible for:
- Conduct sales calls outreach to an existing client database to promote conference registrations and award nominations
- Maintain and update account details and sales history within the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Identify and develop new opportunities with current customers by presenting relevant products and services
- Proactively engage with clients to exceed expectations and foster long-term loyalty
experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role
skills
- Organizational skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CRM user
- Comfortable with deadlines
- Time management skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solve
qualifications
- Relevant experience in a telephone sales or customer communication role, or within an educational setting, will be advantageous
- A background in the telecommunications industry is a plus
- A college or university degree, or equivalent professional development, is required
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service best practices
