Our client is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to drive sales turnover and achieve revenue and margin targets within their designated area. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing sales strategies, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and distributors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales and market strategies for specific territories.
- Execute product sales while adhering to pricing and margin guidelines.
- Establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key customers, business partners, and distributors.
- Provide insights on competitive sales, market data, and customer trends to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to ensure products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Travel periodically to respective territories to support distributors and dealers in market development.
- Establish budgetary forecasts and sales volume targets for the market.
- Guide distributors and dealers to achieve revenue and profit objectives.
- Offer marketing and technical support to distributors and dealers.
- Analyze sales and market data to provide relevant information to senior management for decision-making.
- Assist customer service with follow-ups on customer payment issues.
Qualifications:
- Min Diploma in Engineering with 2-3 years of relevant sales experience in the power generation or related industry.
- Proven experience in the power generation business.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly self-driven and performance-oriented.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Customer-focused, committed, and resourceful.
