Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify new sales strategy and prospective leads by conducting market research, networking, and making cold calls
- Building strong relationships with existing and new clients – In and out of Mumbai
- Understanding market developments and providing appropriate solutions
- Negotiate orders and contracts with clients followed up with good customer service
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activity and pipeline management
- Work closely with the office sales team to ensure order fulfilment to customer satisfaction
- Attend trade shows and conferences to bring in new customers
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Min 3 to 5 years of experience in sales in a B2B environment
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Preferred experience in the steel trading industry
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi or Gujarati
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Candidates with engineering background are preferred, though non-technical candidates may apply, if they are confident of grasping materials and pricing quickly
