About the Safeguarding Team:
The Safeguarding Team plays a vital role in protecting children and young people at risk of harm. As a Social Worker in this team, you will:
- Manage complex cases, ensuring children are safeguarded and their welfare is promoted.
- Develop and implement child protection plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies.
- Work effectively within legal frameworks to achieve the best outcomes.
- Provide timely interventions to prevent harm and improve lives.
- Attend court proceedings and prepare comprehensive reports when necessary.
- What You Bring:
- To excel in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a qualified Social Worker.
- Current Social Care England registration.
- Solid understanding of safeguarding procedures, child protection legislation, and best practices.
- Strong communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.
