Responsibilities
•Design and develop test strategies, test plans, test cases/scripts, and test data
•Execute various test types including integration, regression, functional, non-functional, and accessibility testing
•Develop traceability matrices to ensure alignment of testing with business requirements
•Conduct manual and automated tests using tools like Selenium, Appium, Postman, and SoapUI
•Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members in Agile environments
•Record, track, and manage defects in Jira with detailed documentation
•Participate in sprint reviews, UAT support, defect review meetings, and post-implementation testing
•Assist in planning and facilitating knowledge transfer and documentation with project teams
Qualifications
•5+ years of experience in manual testing including test case development, traceability matrices, and defect management
•5+ years of experience in non-functional testing (performance, fail-over, data integrity, security)
•2+ years of experience in automation testing using Selenium, Appium, or similar tools
•Experience testing COTS/SaaS solutions, preferably with Oracle Siebel Public Sector
•Knowledge of SDLC, Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall methodologies
•Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, Java, Perl, and related technologies for automation
•Working knowledge of accessibility standards (AODA) and API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
