Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership, coordination, and facilitation as required for the RLSO Maintenance and Support tasks.
- Collaborate with RLSO solution vendor, project teams, solution architects, SDC/ITS, LTC IAST staff and third parties engaged to facilitate agreement on and acceptance of the solution for RLSO technical issues or enhancements.
- Provide technical support coordination for QA and UAT testing, including engagement of IAST, Data MoD, and RLSO support teams.
- Provide support for cloud pipeline management and deployment support.
- Contribute to the completion of deliverables (such as requirements document, solution concept document, and infrastructure build) for RLSO support and Maintenance activities.
- Lead the completion of the desktop package certification and installation.
- Lead the maintenance of environment readiness (HW, SW, ENA connectivity, VPN, VDI access for Vendor and internal teams).
- Completion of all connections to all non-core and/or legacy components identified for the RLSO Maintenance and Support requirements.
- Provide technical expertise in the release and deployment management, change management, problem and incident management, service level management, and service transition from project team to operations team and related processes ongoing.
- Provide Technical expertise in the management of changes from agreed scope, schedule or quality for infrastructure, network, and access updates through Change request process – provide technical assistance in the issuance of change requests and management approvals.
- Provide technical expertise in the preparation and follow-up on Change requests (CRs/PCRs) and Change Requests (CRQs) to manage RLSO changes.
- Provide technical expertise in Code drops planning and management during project execution and stabilization period, CRQs, Implementation, Application Promotion plans and schedules, approvals, approval forms based on Project Schedule.
- Providing input for CR’s preparation by the vendor and ensuring the readiness of requested changes.
- Technical oversight of code/package drops and implementations into QA/UAT/Production Environments.
- Provide Technical expertise and necessary activities in the management of the Hardware and Software Inventory to optimize the Azure hosting costs,(such as physical and virtual servers, network assets, software licenses).
- Provide technical expertise and execution of Software media preparation (licenses, renewals, media storage etc.).
- Provide technical expertise in the management and execution of software license renewals; initiation of the process, engagement of OPS partners to obtain information required for procurement, support.
- Proactively identify risks related to RLSO technical solutions and propose mitigation plans. Provide technical expertise in the follow-ups on risk mitigations strategy and issues/ actions execution.
