Responsibilities

•Handle back-end integration of telephony systems, bridging with voice recording solutions, dispatch tools, and call center environments.
•Ensure newly implemented or upgraded systems comply with security, encryption (TLS, SRTP), and vendor management protocols.
•Identify requirements and create detailed project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
•Travel to multiple dispatch centers to oversee implementations, collaborating with local staff for readiness and issue resolution.
•Prepare technical documentation, capture project updates, and manage stakeholder expectations through clear communication.
•Conduct or assist with design walkthroughs, testing, and the creation of best practices for sustainment.
Qualifications
•Demonstrated experience with Avaya R10.x deployment and patching, VOIP/SIP, and SBC configurations.
•Knowledge of PBX, analog trunking, data networks, security protocols, and telephony systems in a public safety environment.
•Familiarity with Linux/Windows servers, subnets, VLANs, DNS, virtualization, and remote desktop solutions.
•Strong project management capabilities, including coordinating teams, vendors, and large-budget initiatives.
•Understanding of NG911 requirements, encryption, call management systems, and system integration with CAD tools.
•Experience with planning new telephony rollouts for contact centers and bridging differences across vendor solutions.
