Responsibilities
•Analyze, design, and develop ETL components (Mappings, Workflows, Data Marts) using Informatica.
•Establish ETL routines and scripts based on project requirements and best practices.

•Conduct unit testing, system testing (SIT, UAT), and code walkthroughs for quality assurance.
•Manage code packages in version control systems like TFS or VSS.

•Work with senior management, architects, and business teams to align solutions with objectives.
•Provide technical guidance, create architecture documents, and maintain detailed design artifacts.
•Oversee deployment processes and coordinate knowledge transfer for seamless hand-offs.
•Fine-tune database performance via indexing, query optimization, and partitioning.
•Identify and resolve production issues, propose fixes, and manage unplanned deployments.
•Champion continuous improvement initiatives, including star schema design and performance enhancements.
Qualifications
•Demonstrated expertise with Informatica ETL solutions and Cognos for data warehousing/BI projects.
•Experience with Oracle (11.x and 12.x) and SQL Server databases, including PL/SQL, T-SQL, and database performance tuning.
•Skilled at converting Oracle PL/SQL objects to T-SQL code in SQL Server environments.
•Proficiency in version control systems (Visual Source Safe, Team Foundation Server) for managing code changes.
•Strong knowledge of SDLC (both Agile and Waterfall) and proven track record in system testing.
•Familiarity with star schema multi-dimensional modeling and business intelligence solutions.
•Experience with data transfer technologies (e.g., SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, MQ).
•Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for multi-client/partner environments.
