Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with the organization's future state modern technology platform
- Develop and maintain technical and functional documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Ensure privacy and security access controls are followed for sensitive personal data in accordance with OPS standards and guidelines
- Consult on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions to address business needs
- Collaborate with vendors and external partners to implement and support technology solutions, ensuring smooth integration and functionality
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical problems, working closely with end-users and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues promptly
- Provide guidance to the project team and transferring knowledge and skills to the team members
- Provides subject matter expertise for all relevant systems including configuration, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, system design, optimizing business workflows, testing and training.
- Develop business and functional requirements including business reporting and analysis needs. Create business design documents
- Analyze business needs to help ensure future state meets the customers objectives through business acumen of collecting information, analyze requirements and solve problems, providing technical and operational support
- Create and evaluate a breakdown of client businesses processes to identify and link functional and non-functional requirements
- Participate in workshops with clients, consultants, and client leaders to analyze and design solutions for the to be state, and handle gaps detected during prototyping
- Product design and gap analysis to standard product functionality
- Work with the technical team to make sure that client needs are incorporated into the specifications and functions
Qualifications
- Case management- 5+years
- Proven experience as Functional Specialist Case Management collaborating with cross-functional teams to lead and manage modern technology solutions that meet business objectives eg. SaaS
- FCIS and ideasWeb are legacy applications currently in use by the business client. They do not have third party vendor support.
- FCIS Specifications:
· FCIS database is 2.9GB in size, contains 387 tables
· Citrix LTSR 2023 CU1
· SQL Server 2019, SP4
· A file server, accessed through the KIDS server, storing uploaded reports (MS Word and PDF)
· SSRS Reporting server used for KIDS reports
- IdeasWeb Specifications: ColdFusion 2016 Application Server Standard Edition
- Functional Specialist – Case Management and ERP Will be expected to hit the ground running and will use their expertise to help the project achieve a robust and comprehensive modern technology solution.
- Proven experience as Functional Specialist Case Management collaborating with cross-functional teams to lead and manage modern technology solutions that meet business objectives eg. SaaS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
- Proficient in programming languages and experienced in software development methodologies and frameworks
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks and industry standards
- Solid understanding of database management and SQL queries
- Proficient in cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Support data migration activities including integration and security requirements
- Proficiency with both MS SQL and MySQL databases
- Proficiency in understanding source data structures (MS SQL and MySQL) and mapping them to the target schema
- Understanding of database schema, data types, and query optimization
- Proven ability to communicate and partner effectively and anticipate stakeholder needs and expectations across a multi-sector environment
- Proven analytical abilities with the ability to propose and contribute to improvement strategies within legislative and policy parameters
- Collaboration with infrastructure teams, developers, security, architecture
