Responsibilities
-Supports Client’s wide-ranging business information requirements, implementing and supporting business intelligence software solutions
-Develops and supports customized query applications which analyze key business data
-Develops and supports guided analysis and drill-down functionality, routine scheduling and notification of report generation, and effective implementation of “opportunity” and “key-trend” alerts.
-Provides Clients with approach options and tools for managing business-related data in a manner that assists in quantitative analysis of progress and the relationship between operational actions and their effect on business objectives.
Qualifications
-Experience with a wide range of methods, tools, and techniques for business analysis such as, but not limited to business functional modeling, business event modeling, business process mapping
-Demonstrated understanding of software development methodology and life cycle Working Experience with data analysis tools Experience and knowledge working with data in some or all of these technologies: Excel, SQL, R, Python, and/or other scripting languages
-Experience working with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and/or Cognos, for both on-premises and cloud solutions where applicable
-Experience working with Oracle and MSSQL databases
-Demonstrated understanding of BA life cycle. This includes awareness of emerging I&IT trends and technologies (Microsoft Azure/Dev-Ops). Build automation experience is an asset
-Knowledge of emerging technologies in data analytics to recommend research, evaluation, and data management tools/ techniques
-Demonstrated experience with developing business strategies, business process re-engineering
-Technical knowledge to identify and evaluate information technology options, and to conduct complex systems analysis and design for the development of new systems or systems modifications
-Conduct and provide technical expertise in complex systems analysis and design, coordinate development of all systems documentation, and develop and oversee testing and implementation of systems and applications
-You can identify and evaluate sources of data for research purposes, assess and select mathematical/statistical methods, investigate and assess new technologies, and prepare statistical analysis
-Demonstrated experience with creating Business Cases, Screen Design/User Interface, Business Process Models, Privacy Impact Assessments, Threat Risk Assessments, and Logical architecture artifacts, among other deliverables
