Responsibilities
- Fully engage as a team member, promoting a positive work environment and timely communication.
- Enhance personal knowledge, participate in knowledge transfer, and stay current with emerging trends and tools.
- Support team success by assisting others, providing training, and contributing to a diverse and equitable workplace.
- Act as a brand champion internally and externally.
- Perform complex tasks involving multiple steps, systems, and jurisdictions with specialized expertise.
- Manage transactions and activities requiring in-depth knowledge of various products and processes.
- Analyze data to identify and escalate complex problems.
- Interact with internal and external customers, providing process and policy guidance.
- Focus on regular and ad-hoc tasks, serving as a subject matter expert and reporting to a Team Manager.
- Conduct rapid reviews of AML alerts (15-20 minutes) triggered by algorithms based on risk factors.
- Assess customer transactions, write concise reviews (1-2 paragraphs), and determine whether alerts should be escalated or closed based on risk evaluation.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- 2 years AML experience
- Previous corporate experience
- Self-driven and motivated to learn
- Able to work independent but also work as part of a team
- Computer savvy – pick up on internal systems and quick learner
NICE TO HAVE
- Previous banking experience (international included)
- Professional education or certifications
- Business writing experience
