Business Development and Sales Management・Create and maintain a proactive business plan focused on sales by constantly monitoring store sales targets, addressing issues (stock, staffing, and merchandising etc..) and adjusting ensure the region/market to achieve their annual sales goals. Regularly keep leadership team updated on sales performance & challenges.・Identify opportunities to improve performance. Develop strategies to raise performance in all stores and return under-performing locations to profit targets.・Contribute to the development of marketing programs that drive sales and traffic; lead the region's retail teams to effectively execute marketing programs to XXXXX standards・Achieve target KPI's including Cross Selling, UPT, conversion rate, sales, and profit targets.・Budget & plan the resources to support the business development plan such as manpower planning & store expenses and increase store productivity.・Nurture and develop relationship with landlords and departments stores to ensure optimal real-estate locations to develop the overall Brand imagCustomer Understanding & Engagement・Demonstrate customer centric behavior with both internal and external customers through hospitality and engagement.・Lead the region's teams to deliver a premium customer experience, utilizing XXXXX Selling Flow 2.0 and training programs to strengthen team capability on customer engagement to provide the highest level of customer service. Hold Store Management team accountable for in store training/learning initiatives to support a high level of service.・ growth of our customer data base through holding teams accountable for high level integrity of customer data, a focus on CRM outreach and customer development methods, and building customer loyalty by creating an emotional connection with XXXXX.・Leverages the customer experience in stores with both service standards and best practice in place and hold managers accountable to them・Maintain strong presence and engagement in community of customers and competitors.Team Development・Determine organizational structure, budgeting, and staffing requirements for the retail division. Set a vision for the retail organization to create an environment of inclusion and engagement・Identify and drive opportunities to build retail capability; Partner with HR to define retail people standards as regards key capabilities and experiences to support the ongoing development of the retail organization・Hire and develop a best-in-class team of Store Managers and Area Managers・Manage performance review and development programs for all management staff. Address performance issues and create development plans to build talent and succession pipelines・Actively support and coach the market retail managers to achieve their business goals and develop a cadre of future retail leaders for the organizationBrand Presentation・Partner with GMM and Market Head to define buying strategy by initiating recommendations in commercial sales planning, providing input on sales mix definition, assortment planning and collection selection buying.・Maintain overall accountability for optimizing product consolidation to drive sell-through performance (productivity).・Builds capability in relation to product knowledge across the retail organization as a key lever for driving the business. Support product training initiatives by ensuring teams are ready and available to participate in sessions.・Make creative initiatives to maximize sales revenues e.g., Trunk Shows Bespoke Events・Ensure alignment, support, and resource allocation across markets for the successful implementation of brand VM standards.・Ensure visual merchandising action accentuates the brand communications to develop the business.・Ensure store experience (team grooming, music, video, food, beverage, etc.) and store maintenance is up to standards according to Company guidelines.
求められる経験
・Relevant experience of 8-10 years in retail leadership role including:
・Proven record on formulating business strategy and execution to deliver the results
・Solid performance in understanding customer trends, drive business through customer portfolio management Solid experience in building value-based customer relationship
・Working experience in working with merchandising/planning team on product offering strategy as well as products movement across the POS
・Proficient experience in building retail team capability including talent management, training deployment, talent acquisition and integration
・Experience in working in a cross function or multi stakeholder working environment
・Languages Fluent in Japanese and business proficiency in English
・Travel requirements 40% travel in Japan is required as well as annual trips to Milan
