Randstad, in collaboration with the NSW Electoral Commission, is seeking a proficient Results Management Officer to join our team for the Local Government Elections 2024.
About the role:
The Results Management Officer will be responsible for supporting the Results Management Team (RMT) Manager in the operation of the RMT, monitoring variances, liaising with relevant personnel to investigate and resolve variances, and ensuring accurate documentation of variances.

... - Assist the RMT Manager in day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective results management processes.
- Continuously monitor election results for variances that exceed RMT tolerance levels.
- Identify and flag variances for further investigation and resolution.
- Communicate with the RMT Manager to request investigation checks on counts where variances exceed tolerance levels.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure all necessary steps are taken to resolve variances.
- Liaise with the team to identify and explain variances that exceed RMT tolerance levels.
- Provide clear and concise explanations for variances to ensure transparency and accuracy in reporting.
- Ensure that meaningful comments are recorded in Election Management Application (EMA) or Polling Results Collection Centre (PRCC) to adequately explain all variances that exceed RMT tolerance levels.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all variances and associated actions taken.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
