We are excited to welcome a passionate Religious Education Teacher to our team in Preston! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to motivate and guide KS3 and KS4 students in their understanding of religious beliefs and values. The pay rates will be based on your experience, qualifications, and teaching expertise.
In this role, you will inspire the students to explore diverse religious beliefs, ethical questions, and philosophical ideas. You will also be conducting engaging lessons and open discussions to foster critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the world.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum
- Punctual and reliable
- Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
- Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and mark promptly
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Respond to questioning

- Experience up to key stage 3/4
- QTS/PGCE equivalent
