Responsibilities
Registered Pharmacy Technician - Burnaby, BC - Healthcare
- Verify the accuracy of prepared medications by checking each prescription
- Handle weekly strip packaged medications and compliance packages
- Maintain organized workflow to ensure timely delivery routes
- Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality as per regulations
- Promote inclusiveness and belonging within the workplace
Qualifications
- Licensed and registered with the College of Pharmacists as a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in good standing
- Experience in high volume filling environments preferred
- Familiarity with PacMed or PacVision considered an asset
- Minimum 1 year of continuous experience in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital, or Retail)
