I am representing my client , a leading provider of cutting edge tech solutions to industries like telecommunications, aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing.
As part of their succession planning, they are looking for an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead their regional sales strategy, managing a team of up to 10 sales professionals and driving revenue growth across the SEA region.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading sales teams and achieving revenue targets through both individual contributions and team performance.
Experience with large, complex sales, with average deal sizes exceeding $5 million, is essential.
You will work closely with cross-functional and cross regional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous business growth.
About the role
Reporting to the VP of Sales, your responsibilities would includes
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, both through personal sales efforts and the performance of the team.
- Lead and close high-value deals, typically above $5 million, with a focus on delivering value-driven solutions to key customers in industries like telecommunications, aerospace, and manufacturing.
- Identify and evaluate new markets and opportunities within SEA, crafting go-to-market strategies for emerging technologies and applications
- Lead negotiations and contract finalization for large, complex deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, analyzing market trends and sales performance to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales professionals, providing continuous coaching and development to ensure the team meets and exceeds performance expectations.
Skills and experience required
- Minimum of 12 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead a team of up to 10 sales professionals, driving both individual and team success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Strong track record of both individual and team sales performance, with experience in managing and closing large, complex deals averaging above $5 million in value.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers at all levels.
- Willingness to travel across the SEA region as required.
