About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead aftermarket sales efforts within the APAC region. This role focuses on driving sales in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) services, spare parts, and achieving annual revenue and profitability targets. The position requires fostering strong customer relationships, gathering market intelligence, and developing strategies to enhance business growth.
This role reports to the Head of Regional Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies and campaigns for MRO services and spare parts, including landing gear overhauls, component modifications, and initial spares provisioning.
- Secure long-term contracts by understanding market trends, identifying opportunities, building business cases, and leading commercial and contract negotiations.
- Promote and position aftersales services such as health management, predictive maintenance solutions, and surplus trading for incremental sales.
- Achieve annual financial targets, including sales revenue and EBIT.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and addressing escalations such as account receivables.
- Support customer satisfaction initiatives, including surveys and ratings.
- Participate in industry events, workshops, exhibitions, and other company functions as required.
Key Requirements
- Degree in International Business, Business Management, Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or customer service roles, ideally in the aerospace or aviation industry.
- Extensive network within the aerospace/aviation sector.
- Business travel of 30%-50% may be required, sometimes on short notice.
- Strong business acumen with strategic vision and customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., MS Dynamics), Power BI, and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of P&L, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to create business cases and deliver impactful presentations.
- Team-oriented, accountable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Flexible working hours and availability for short-notice travel.
