Our client is a distinguished Global MNC within the Luxury Fragrances industry, renowned for creating and distributing Well-known Fragrances brands within the APAC market. The firm is looking for a Travel Retail Area Manager to support the growth of the Travel Retail Asia Pacific business.
Reporting to the Travel Retail Regional Sales Director, based in the Singapore office, managing key accounts in the Asia Pacific region.
About the Job:
... - Be accountable for sales objectives and profitability while managing expenses within selected countries within Asia pacific region, Australia / pacific islands.
- Define and implement a business plan and review and initiate improvement actions.
- Planning of sales targets and incentive program to achieve the aligned targets.
- Negotiate and finalize sales contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
- Provide regular sales reports, market analysis, and performance updates to senior management.
- Accountable for A&P spend - Product presentations to retailers/agents during meetings and trade events.
- Review purchase orders placed by retailers/agents and communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth ordering/delivery processes - Review participation in retailers’ promotion initiatives.
- Review promotional mechanics with Team to ensure its performance and effectiveness.
- Attend retailers' queries and establish and maintain good relationships with them.
- Conduct store visits and checks on counter to identify areas of improvements or opportunities.
- Review in-flight listings with Team on performance and profitability.
- Handle regional pricing checks and issues & Work on forecasts & monitor & feedback on competitor's activities and developments.
- Work with the Design department on permanent counters production & Training Department to ensure training for new product launches is arranged.
- Hiring of retail sales staff where applicable and motivate them to drive brands’ sales
- Participating in exhibitions, trade fairs relevant to the Fragrance industry
Skills and Experience Required:
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a hands-on approach.
- Proven 4-6 years experience in sales / retail operations roles within fragrance, beauty, lifestyle, retail / consumer sectors.
- 10-20% business travels required in a year
