- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing actuarial audit team.
- Oversee audits for actuarial and financial risk areas, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Develop and review risk-based audit plans aligned with group strategy and emerging risks.
- Assess and enhance risk management frameworks, identifying and addressing control issues.
- Build strong relationships with senior management, auditors, and governance forums.
- Leverage technical expertise to refine audit practices and act as an SME in actuarial risks.
- Provide insights on emerging risks and trends in the financial services sector.
- Support regulatory investigations and align audits with business strategies.
- Promote knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement within the audit community.
Skills and experience required
- Fully qualified Fellow with a recognised actuarial body
- Strong understanding of local regulations and risk management expertise.
- Excellent communication skills for influencing and engaging senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage teams, coach, and develop talent effectively.
- Experience in advanced risk management practices and methodologies.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
