About the Role
Rerporting to the Team Leader, the full time permanent opportunity is responsible for managing a portfolio of claim settlements with the aim to maximise revenue recovery whilst maintaining a high standard of service.

Communicate with key stakeholders (customers, legal, insurers, repairers) to gather accurate notes and confirm liability, ensuring we meet customer needs.
Manage a portfolio of recovery claims
Review claim documents like assessment reports and invoices.
Negotiate recovery percentages with insurers to maximize debt recovery.
Settle claims with insurers using supporting evidence to minimize write-offs.
Prepare files for legal escalation when needed and keep customers informed.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure transparency and resolve issues efficiently.

About your Experience

Previous claims/recoveries/paralegal/litigations experience
Critical mindset and analytical thinking
Ability to problem solve outside the box
Negotiation & investigation skills
Highly motivated to achieve results
Excellent written and verbal communication

My client is a recovery firm looking to bring a new approach to a long standing industry. With teams across Australia and international teams, they strive to act on their clients behalf to recover the cost of loss from the at-fault party or their insurer to ensure their client's are restored back to the position prior to the accident.
