To work as a reachtruck driver, you have experience in working in logistics and like working in a warehouse. You have a positive and motivated attitude. If you recognize yourself in this, we ask the following of you:
- You speak the English language (because it’s the main language of Vanderlande);
- You have knowledge of safety regulations and procedures;
- You have experience in driving the forklift/reach truck. No certificate? No problem! We offer you training to get your certificate at our expense.
As a reachruck driver you can work in the inbound or outbound department.
The inbound department is where all the goods come in. You are the point of contact for the drivers and help with unloading. You register everything in the computer. Now the goods can be stored in the warehouse. From there they go to the pick & pack department.
In the outbound department, you make sure you load the pallets correctly in the container/truck. You will do this by using a reachtruck.
Also you will help with other warehouse tasks as needed and add the items into the computer system.
Vanderlande is a leading company that specializes in conveyor belts. The European Distribution Center (EDC) department is located in Veghel and Erp.
It employs about 60 logistics professionals of different ages and backgrounds. They are in charge of intake, booking, packing, checking, identification, and storage of all goods. They manage the movement of goods for international projects. The loading and unloading of goods are also part of their responsibilities.
