An established and growing Folkestone-based construction company is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. Specializing in a diverse range of commercial construction projects, the company focuses on strip-out, refurbishment, and fit-out works. Clients include universities, shopping centres, light industrial sectors, housing associations, and more. Project values typically range from £50,000 to £2 million, with a high volume of projects predominantly under JCT forms of contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily commercial and contractual activities across multiple projects.

• Negotiate challenges and variations effectively.

• Support the preparation of interim and final accounts.

• Produce Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs).

• Price jobs using various approaches tailored to different client needs.

Individual Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.

• Strong understanding of commercial construction, particularly in self-delivered projects.

• Knowledge and experience working with JCT forms of contract.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.

• Proficiency in Maths, English, and IT.

• Full UK driving license.

• Ideally located within a 45-minute commute of Folkestone.
