About the job
- Prepare bills of quantities, taking-off, and cost estimates.
- Prepare tender submission/quotation.
- Prepare variation order cost and finalize project accounts together with the Project Department.
- Prepare claims and obtain approvals from Clients or Consultants.
- Source for potential subcontractors and suppliers.
- Liaise with Clients, Consultants, and authorities on all aspects of tender.
- Prepare project budgetary and comparison in terms of tender and sub-contract works.
- prepare subcontractors and suppliers' work package tender.
- prepare monthly progress claims and payment recommendations to the Management.
- compile all the costing files and summaries to Post-Contract Negotiation / Awarding Committee for final negotiations once the project is secured.
About the manager/team
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Contract Manager and work together along with a team of Quantity Surveyor.
Skills and experience required
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in high-tech facilities construction is compulsory.
- Minimum of 3 years of working experience.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage timelines accordingly.
