Job description
We are looking for a Quality Manager for the aeronautical manufacturing industry.
You will be part of the local management team under direct supervision of the General Manager, and will report
functionally to the Head of Quality of Europe & South America (ESA).
Under this scope you will:
• Organize, manage all aspects of quality: Quality control, quality assurance, quality management system, qualification and certification of special processes;
• Lead, coach, develop your team - up to 25 persons;
• Ensure that the Quality Management System is functioning properly while deploying Policy & Strategy.
You coordinate all external and internal audits EN9100, NADCAP, Civil aviation authorities;
• Review technical and contractual/norms requirements and ensure compliance. Make sure that
manufacturing processes as well as industrial tools meet quality standards by leading systematic/random
inspections in accordance with control plans;
• Organize the certification of manufactured/repaired products within the whole company and preparing

delivery files / documents;
• Ensure staff certification for relevant techniques and deliver certificates;
• Organize training on quality aspects;
• Monitor performance and make suggestions for changes and improvements as well as way of
implementation;
• Investigate customer complaints, internal nonconformities, using relevant quality tools for problem resolution (root cause, six sigma, DMAIC, 8D);
• Ensure that managers and staff are following the company standards;
• Takes part into local strategic projects and global quality projects across ESA organization.
Requirements
- You are an engineer (civil or industrial) with a minimum of 10 years of experience;
- You have demonstrated experience of at least 5 years in an aeronautical environment, in quality control management;
- You have good communication skills and are assertive;
- You can lead and develop a team;
- You are a team player;
- You have an operational level in writing, reading and speaking both Romanian & English languages. Knowledge of French is a plus;
- You master IT tools: MS365 office software, ERP (preferably SAP).
