Ensure the company's quality programs are implemented in full compliance with all regulatory, company, and customer requirements. Provide strategic quality guidance, consultation, and support to the manufacturing site.

Responsibilities
- Maintain the plant Quality Management System by developing standards, implementing quality assurance policies, and ensuring compliance through tools, training, and instructions.
- Manage all quality-related communications and training for plant employees.
- Serve as the quality subject matter expert, overseeing vendor and subcontractor quality management.
- Conduct Non-Conformance Report analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Document standards, inspection methods, testing, and evaluation procedures.
- Plan and conduct internal and supplier quality assurance audits.
- Support the Engineering team with tooling, equipment, new product design, and process control.
- Lead and develop the QA team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education from an accredited university or Diploma in Quality Management, or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong understanding of ISO Quality Standards and Quality Management Systems.
- 10-15 years of experience in Quality Assurance Management, preferably in machining and assembly environments.
- Knowledge of calibration procedures for measuring equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills (you'll be leading a team of 10-15) .
- Certified and trained in quality auditing.
- Experience presenting quality programs and issues to management.
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes, including forging, heat treating, machining, and assembly.
- Familiar with special processes such as galvanizing, painting, and coatings.
- Proficient in using various testing and metrology equipment.
- Understand and adhere to Quality Management Systems under ISO 9001:2008 standards.
- Knowledgeable in APQP and PPAP methodologies.
- Experienced in utilizing the 8D complaint response methodology.
- Able to review and interpret customer specifications for quality requirements.
