Quality Inspector - Major Highway Project - Hampshire
Randstad are looking for a skilled and experienced Quality Inspector to join a major highway project in Hampshire. This is a freelance contract role with a competitive rate and the chance to work on a dynamic project with a leading construction company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and audits of materials, workmanship, and construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation, identifying any non-conformances or potential issues.
* Work closely with site engineers and subcontractors to resolve any quality-related concerns.
* Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
* Assist with the development and implementation of quality management plans and procedures.
* Monitor and track quality performance, identifying areas for improvement.
* Contribute to the creation of a culture of quality excellence on the project.

* Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role within the construction industry.
* A strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies.
* Experience working on major highway projects or similar infrastructure schemes.
* Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations for highway construction.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience working with leading construction companies in the UK.
* A relevant qualification in Quality Management or a related field.
* Experience using construction software and systems.
