In this role you will be required to test materials and finished products to ensure that they are in accordance with company standards.
This will be tested in 3 stages - before, in and final to ensure that all quality levels are met.

Role: Quality Inspector
Reporting to: QA Manager
Payrate: $25-$30/hour depending on experience
Location: Cambridge
2 Openings: 1 Day and 1 Afternoons (these are two separate roles, this is NOT a rotating shift)
Hours Days: 6:30am to 3pm (Monday to Friday)
Hours Afternoons: 3pm to 1:30am (Monday to Thursday)
**Must be fully competent to operate CMM's and gauges on the existing product
At least 2-3 years working in a similar role

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ITPs and NDE reports including continuity logs
- Setting up all inspection and testing- TSSA, CTS (testing and reporting)
- Monitor the process and performance and report through NCR and CAR processes
- Monitoring all incoming materials entering the plant and finished products leaving the plant to detect any non-conformances
- Dimensional evaluations on parts using the appropriate standards and specifications (gauges and fixtures) + ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated
- Prepare and maintain test data
Qualifications
- At least 2 years working in a similar role, related to quality
- Experience with ASME Section VIII and Section IX Welding, CWB
- Weld Inspection to ASME, CWB, AWS
- Full understanding of blueprints and schematics and ability to conduct first article inspections
- Good communication skills and very organized
- Full understanding of MS Office, shipping and receiving software and QA software
- Ability to convert between metric and imperial units
- Understanding of programming and measuring standard parts on CMM
- Education in QA
