If so, Randstad are recruiting for a Social Worker to join Manchester Cafcass's Work After First Hearing Team. This is a full-time role offering upto £37.50 hourly.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Post First Hearing Support: Conduct assessments and prepare reports for the Family Court, ensuring that the child's welfare is paramount in all decision-making processes.
• Child Protection: Undertake Section 47 investigations and develop safety plans for children at risk of harm.
• Family Engagement: Work with children, families, and carers to build supportive relationships that promote positive change and address identified risks.
• Court Work: Prepare and present evidence at court hearings and review meetings.
• Case Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of case progress, interventions, and outcomes using the relevant social work systems.
• Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work alongside other professionals, such as health, education, and police, to ensure a holistic approach to support for families.
• Safeguarding: Ensure that all social work practice is underpinned by safeguarding principles and in line with relevant legislation and procedures.

Requirements:

• Social Work England registered
• Social Work Degree or equivalent
• Enhanced DBS
