As a Social Worker specialising in Safeguarding, Care Planning, and Children with Disabilities, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable children and young people. Responsibilities include:
- Carry out comprehensive assessments to identify the needs, strengths, and risks associated with children and families, ensuring a thorough understanding of their situations.
- Actively monitor and assess risks to children's safety and wellbeing, taking necessary action to safeguard them from harm, including implementing child protection plans when needed.
- Regularly monitor and review progress against transition plans, adjusting support as needed to ensure young people are on track to achieve their goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, plans, and interventions, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
Requirements:
- Relevant social work qualification
- 2 years relevant experience
