MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
(Note: what responsibility and authority this position performs in organization, especially responsibility affect product quality should be identified.)
1. Perform EPS specific vehicle test schedule based on specified test items and test procedure at specified locations.
a) Perform specific vehicle test schedule
b) Deliver test report by using the defined template.
2. Perform EPS vehicle level verification based on specified test items and procedure
a) Perform vehicle level driving catalog
b) Deliver test reports by using the defined template.
3. EPS related ADAS tuning (advanced and optional):
a) Work with customer or ADAS supplier in vehicle for EPS system tuning in each development phase, for ADAS actuator tuning, which could be torque or angle interface.
b) Deliver the final tuning files.
4. Perform the Safety Vehicle Test Based on the Test Spec from Safety Team.
a) Perform fault injection test
b) Deliver test data and test results.
5. Accept other job responsibilities as required by PE Supervisor.
6. Maintain safety and good discipline.
 

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Degree:
Master degree in Mechatronic Engineering, Automotive Engineering or Controls – for tuning work;
Or bachelor’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering or Automotive Engineering with strong knowledge on Mechanics, Electronics and vehicle dynamics – for testing work.

Working Experience:
1. 2 years and above experience in automotive field, especially EPS field is preferred;
2. 2 years and above experience in electrical and system field is preferred.
3. Background in automotive engineering and chassis systems (steering, braking, and suspension) is preferred.
 

Other Skills (such as language, technical, software, certification):
1. Good oral and written communication skills in English; can use clear & fluent English to describe complex tasks or issues, and explain facts, practices, procedures, etc. to others; Able to make presentation in English, can understand English information from others and participate in English discussions on various topics.
2. Knowledge of EPS systems is preferred.
3. Good at MATLAB/Simulink and data processing, e.g. spectrum analysis, is preferred.
4. Knowledge about C-language, software integration/ system verification is preferred.
5. Knowledge on controls, motor controls or electric motor is preferred.
6. Experience on mechanical structure design is preferred.
7. NVH basics is preferred.
