Purchasing and Supply Chain Specialist
Randstad’s procurement and supply chain specialist, Hayley Wilson, is seeking a Purchasing & Supply Chain Specialist for a permanent position with rapidly growing mining manufactuer.
Key responsibilities of all the roles will include:
- Assisting other supply chain departments to reviewing and reporting variances across inventory, costing and supplier contracts.
- Negotiate detailed supply contracts and agreements on behalf of the company to secure optimal terms and conditions.
- Work closely with suppliers to optimise procurement activities, enhance purchasing efficiency, and increase buying power.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and department heads.
- Onboarding of new vendors and suppliers.
- Experience with purchase orders and ensuring data entry accuracy
Successful applicants will require:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required. Experience in mining or manufacturing will be an advantage.
- Formal qualifications in Procurement and Supply Chain, Purchasing or Logistics. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to multitask and work autonomously.
- This role is based in Perth, Western Australia.
