Responsibilities
- Purchasing high-quality merchandise at the lowest possible cost
- Entering Purchase Orders and maintaining accurate and organized vendor files
- Managing merchandise and supplies
- Managing external stakeholder and vendor relationships
- Liaise with internal departments
- Interacting with suppliers about defective or unacceptable goods and determining corrective action
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous purchasing experience ideally in sporting goods, hunting, fishing, apparent, and outdoor equipment
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- High degree of accuracy and outstanding attention to detail
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Tech-Savvy (MS Office, and ideally Sage 300 and Power BI)
