The successful candidates will be responsible for sourcing, procuring, and managing materials and supplies for construction projects. Whether you're an entry-level professional eager to learn or a seasoned expert with years of experience, we welcome individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong negotiation skills.
- Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
- Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate prices, and manage vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies to meet project schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment as needed.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with the finance department to manage budget allocations and cost control.
- Resolve procurement-related issues and address any discrepancies or quality concerns.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experienced in the construction industry is a must.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
