Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Psychology and/or Sociology
- Relevant experience teaching Psychology and Sociology at secondary level (KS3, KS4 & KS5)
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Psychology and Sociology to GCSE and A-Level students
- Inspire students to develop critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of human behaviour and societal issues
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help them reach their full potential
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with curriculum requirements, ensuring varied teaching approaches
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, department meetings, and school events as required
