We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Writer / Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our growth through exceptional proposal development and contract management. This role involves managing the entire US proposal process, from initial research and strategy development to final submission. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Development (BD), Sales, Finance, and other departments, to create compelling and competitive proposals. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines are critical for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:Lead the proposal development process for the US market, ensuring bid management best practices are followed.
Collaborate with BD, sales, finance, and marketing teams to develop strong proposals.
Oversee the RFP (Request for Proposal) process, including planning, execution, and submission.
Ensure compliance with client requirements, government regulations, and company policies.
Conduct in-depth market research to identify new business opportunities.
Develop, revise, and maintain content for sales proposals, including responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and SoWs.
Produce customized and compliant proposals tailored to client needs.
Act as a key resource in identifying and implementing best practices for pitch opportunities.
Organize and maintain a repository of proposals, content, and data for future use.
Track and report opportunity outcomes and post-award presentations.
Attend pre-proposal events/conferences to gather insights.
US Government Proposal Writing Experience: Must have worked on contracts for US Federal, State, and Local governments.
US Shift Experience: Must have prior experience working in US shift hours.
US IT Consulting & Staff Augmentation: Prior experience working with US IT Consulting & Staffing companies is required.
Mumbai-based Candidate: This role is strictly onsite in Mumbai (Vikhroli office).
Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably in Computer Science or a related field).
Minimum 5+ years of proposal writing experience for the US market (Mandatory).
Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, ChatGPT, etc.).
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong client service mindset and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality proposals.
