Randstad Property is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-known Science organisation based in Wellington as they look for a Property Projects Manager.
As the Property Project Manager you will be responsible for managing a range of capital works projects across hard facilities and buildings at their main campus and wider portfolio. Responsibilities include:
- Ensure sound project management practices are in place for commercial viability of projects.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date project plans, baseline them, and track progress.
- Identify and manage dependencies, critical paths, cross linkages, and constraints with other projects, resources, and organisational implementation.
- Maintain transparent financial management of projects, ensuring delivery within approved budgets.
- Manage all phases of project development, including post-project review
- Evaluate operational systems and facility infrastructure to identify and enhance operational efficiencies.
Ideal candidate requirements include:
- Extensive experience of managing complex projects within a construction environment
- Strong project management skills and the ability to drive the end-to-end project life cycle
- Ability to create and translate data led project plans
- Well-developed business acumen and the ability to think and act strategically
- A collaborative approach to working within and across multi-functional teams from different parts of the business
- Outstanding planning and organisational skills
- A relevant tertiary qualification
On offer is an attractive remuneration package ($130,000 to $150,000 depending on experience) and the opportunity to assist in the upgrade of a notable property portfolio within Wellington.
