Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish and will be experienced in cross functional technology delivery. Experience within Retail environments or with hardware procurement, staging and delivery will be an asset.
Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes.
Partner closely with our engineers and architects to ensure Mexico store technology will be ready for cutover.
Responsibilities
Planning, organizing, and directing the completion of Mexico NSO store rollout projects.
Work with Analysts and Architects to produce Project Delivery enhancements.
Ensure that New Store Opening projects are operationally ready when launched.
Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and re-sellers.
Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables.
Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate channels and stakeholders, escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan.
Manage the ordering process, including forecasting, creating purchase orders, and reconciling invoices.
Working closely with vendors, with particular focus on process improvement and relationship management.
Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Fluent in English and Spanish
Ability to travel freely between Canada and Mexico if required
Experience managing technology delivery projects which focused on building developing, maintaining, and overseeing the artifacts outlined under the Responsibilities.
Experience with vendor management and working with key 3rd party strategic partners.
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex IT systems, processes, and hardware configurations.
Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills. Strong negotiation/facilitation skills with an ability to gain consensus.
Proven success working with all levels of cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to consult, facilitate and manage expectations with leadership, cross-functional teams, and vendors.
Ability to leverage appropriate project management methodologies based on project requirements.
Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets.
Nice to Have
Experience in technical project management in the retail industry.
Hardware delivery project experience.
Hardware installation experience in a retail environment.
Required qualifications
PMP certification and/or formal knowledge of project management principles, processes, and tools.
Bachelor's degree with 5 of technology experience or an equivalent combination.
Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
Knowledge of Coupa (or equivalent AP automation software) is desired.
