Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage comprehensive healthcare recruitment and retention projects, ensuring they meet strategic goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery Organizations, regulatory bodies, and government departments to align efforts and enhance outcomes.
• Implement effective organizational change strategies, addressing potential risks and fostering smooth transitions.
• Efficiently assign and track resources, manage budgets, and oversee the financial aspects of projects to maximize impact.
• Regularly report on project progress to executive sponsors and maintain clear, effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Qualifications
• 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager leading large, complex projects including budget creation and cost tracking, assignment of resources and managing interdependencies in delivering a combination of technology, business and process change, in a complex sector such as healthcare, financial services or other public sectors.
•7 years’ experience providing program or project leadership of large healthcare-related business transformation activities, including planning and program/project management, working with executive leaders, oversight of project managers/team leaders, organizational change management, risk management, and reporting to executive sponsors.
• 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager implementing large transformational projects including organizational redesign.
•5 years’ experience participating in organizational change management (OCM) activities including developing readiness plans, identifying change risks, and developing communications targeted at employees and leadership.
• 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager implementing an electronic health record.
• 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager working on projects involving the training of application systems for clinical front-line users including nurses and physicians.
• 2 years’ experience planning the establishment of provincial healthcare service organizations and contributing to the planning of healthcare service alignment with government priorities.
