Responsibilities
• Oversee all phases of IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they meet predefined objectives for time, cost, and quality.
• Coordinate closely with Cloud Architects, Developers, Engineers, and end-users to align project deliverables with business goals.
• Manage procurement processes, ensuring resources are available as needed and within budget constraints.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders using established PM frameworks.
• Adhere to stringent security protocols, including CSIS Level 1 security clearance and alignment with Canadian nuclear regulations.
Qualifications
Mandatory Education
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Prince 2 certification
Desired Education
• ITIL
• PROSCI certification
• IAEA training in security and information technology
Mandatory Experience
• More than 5 years as a technical project manager experienced with software, infrastructure and cloud projects using Agile or waterfall methodologies in highly complex projects.
• Planning projects including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
• Work closely with Cloud Architects, Developers, Engineers and end users.
• Strong oral and written communications.
• Good interpersonal skills - ability to work in a hybrid environment while developing and maintaining relationships.
• Experience in tracking and project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
• Proficiency using MS Office tools including Excel, MS Visio, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Cloud (Microsoft Azure preferred)
Desired Experience
• Experience in work with DevOps, IT, Cybersecurity, Data, Development, architecture, and operations teams.
• Experience performing some light change management activities
• Proficient in use of MS Teams, SharePoint, Power Apps, and Power BI
• Working in a regulated environment
• Experience with a document centric environment
• Technical understanding of the Cloud infrastructures technologies (AWS, Azure) and/or other SaaS technologies.
