The primary role of a BPO engineering lead (Build Project Organization) is to oversee all engineering activities throughout the conceptual, basic, and detailed phases of project design. During the construction phase, this role may also involve leading on-site engineering tasks related to field- and change management. additionally, the engineering lead ensures the preparation and handover of all relevant "as-built" documentation to the end user. responsibilities include establishing and managing the engineering scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. To achieve these objectives, the engineering lead serves as the main point of contact with the engineering service provider for the project.

Master degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar experience Experience

2-5 years experience as Project Engineer, preferably in the food/feed industry

Knowledge of integrated application of current design tools

Knowledge about national and international (EMEA) Engineering & Design Standards

Knowledge about constructability and construction safety in design

Knowledge of specific safety norms, standards and studies (eg. Atex, SIL, HAZOP etc) in project phases and design. This in order to achieve a 360⁰ view on Safety in design

Knowledgeable on PDP process Technical Skills

Able to work with project tools (WBS, Project tracking systems, calculation tools, ..)

Fluent in English (both verbal and writing)

Willing to work in an international environment and a multicultural team
